Drive-in Racking System

Drive-in racking is a specialized racking system designed to maximize industrial warehouse racking space efficiency.

This configuration eliminates aisles between racks, utilizing the storage bays themselves as forklift aisles, which is ideal for warehouses with a high volume of pallets per SKU (Stock Keeping Unit), as it allows for deep storage configurations, accommodating multiple pallets of the same SKU in each lane.

It’s available in configurations of 10 or 12 pallets deep and 6 or 7 pallets deep.

When Is Drive-in Racking Used?
  • When there is a need for a high storage density
  • When you don’t want to mix the SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) in every drive bin/lane on the shelves
  • When there is a need to store large-sized and same-type goods for long periods.
Key Features
  • FILO System Support: Supports the FILO system (First In, Last Out), enabling easy access to pallets and optimizing stock rotation. To reach the last pallet, all the preceding pallets must be removed.
  • Cold Storage: Commonly used in cold storage applications, particularly for storing food products due to its efficient use of space and ability to accommodate large quantities of homogeneous goods.
  • Easy Access: Drive-in capability simplifies forklift operation and allows for easy access to previously stored pallets or items.
  • High Storage Utilization: Maximizes warehouse storage utilization by over 50-60% of the available space.
